Edge of Wonder found declassified CIA documents about vampires, accounts of people having alien encounters, and news about Antarctica that seriously turned some heads: These are the weirdest things Ben and Rob found this week, which will be covered on this Friday Night Live.
Certain operations and programs that the CIA declassified are a treasure trove of unsettling, weird, and straight up paranormal experiments. Ever heard of the plot to utilize fear of vampires in a particular village as a war tactic? But this brings up the question: What made the villagers in the Philippines so scared to begin with? Also revealed in old CIA documents was how pipe bombs were planted around the United States to blame Cuba and be able to launch an attack in what was called Operation Northwoods. Also speaking of war, hilariously, the CIA had plans prepared against Canada just in case they were to ever invade the US. (Of course, since it’s Canada, if they did attack, they’d probably give a heads up first out of politeness anyway, eh.)
In other news: 1) A second Boeing whistleblower, Joshua Dean, died due to an incurable, severe infection. 2) Scientists have been testing consciousnesses in animals and are concluding that they are all sentient beings. 3) A former US Navy pilot claimed that aliens visited him in his home. 4) New evidence has emerged that Antarctica was once a lush, green land full of rivers and lakes. Could this be evidence of a lost civilization?

Do Ancient Mayan Temples Align With Star Constellations?

Did the ancient Maya people use the stars and the constellations as a map to build their temples? New evidence hints that they did, which brings up a new question about archaeology: What if we used star maps to look for ancient sites? Would they prove that certain sites were man made? In Graham Hancock’s Ancient Apocalypse series, he began to explore this theory, joining other researchers who have pointed out that the Pyramids of Giza are the main location that aligns exactly with the stars. Today, mainstream scholars and archaeologists disprove this theory, however, because the stars do not align now—or even 3,000 years ago—with what they say is the age of the pyramid complex.
However, the pyramids did align with the stars very exactly over 12,000 years ago, going against the mainstream understanding of when the pyramids were built. But what if we took this approach a step further, venturing off of our own planet and onto another, specifically Mars? Using star charts, is it possible that the ancient region of Cydonia on Mars holds the key to a cosmic mystery, revealing that it was a site built by an intelligent, advanced race? Dubai Flood via Cloud Seeding? Plus We Found a Structure on the Moon!

Dubai is experiencing flooding after apparent cloud seeding, plus Edge of Wonder may have found a structure on the moon with a P1000 Nikon camera! These are the weirdest things that happened this week that will get covered this Friday Night Live.
The flooding in Dubai hasn’t slowed down, the worst flooding the country has seen in over 75 years. People are being forced to abandon their vehicles as many streets have become new rivers. The first report from Bloomberg said that cloud seeding was to blame, which was quickly attacked by other media even though Dubai has been cloud seeding for years to help with their dry climate. Although some organizations try to call chemtrails or cloud seeding a conspiracy theory, several US states have banned cloud seeding altogether. But what is cloud seeding? Who is doing this, and are chemtrails and cloud seeding the same?
Also in this episode of Friday Night Live, a few states had an outage that prevented 9-1-1 calls; millions of people couldn’t make emergency calls in the affected states. Was this just a glitch? Or was it a potential cyberattack? The FBI has been warning about entities like the Chinese Communist Party attacking critical infrastructure. In outer space news, Ben bought a Nikon P1000 camera and took some amazing photos of the moon and sun. There’s a new Sesame Street Mandela Effect, the weather is going wild, and what’s up with P. Diddy? These are the weirdest things that happened this week, and Friday Night Live will dive into them all.
It’s the last weekend before the “great American solar eclipse,” and the weather is already acting weird. With an earthquake that just hit the New Jersey and New York area right after the earthquake that hit Taiwan, mainstream sources are wondering if this is because of climate change or something else. Surprisingly, some are following Bill Gates' suggestion of blocking out the sun—just like what The Simpsons predicted long ago. But what is “climate change” in relation to things like an eclipse or an earthquake? Tornado warnings and strange weather are happening all around the world, as well. 
That’s not all: there’s a new photo of the Statue of Liberty's torch being hit by lightning around this same time, and some believe these are all warnings of something deeper that needs to be fixed. CERN Targets Dark Matter on 2024 Solar Eclipse: What Could Go Wrong?

CERN is targeting dark matter during the 2024 total solar eclipse. What could go wrong? In what’s being hailed an “historic moment,” CERN will attempt to harness the power of the world's most renowned particle accelerator (the Large Hadron Collider or LHC). The purpose is to help scientists understand what they call “dark matter,” which is different from antimatter or dark energy.
According to most scientific understandings, “dark matter” is still a “hypothetical form of matter.” (Then why CERN is spending millions to research some “hypothetical matter” if it’s only a theory. Do they already know it exists?) What is “dark matter” anyway? Dark matter is like an invisible force that's spread throughout the universe. It doesn't emit light or energy like stars or galaxies do, so it can’t be seen directly. However, scientists think it's there because of its gravitational effects.
Just like how the Earth pulls things towards it, dark matter's gravity or attractive properties affect the movement of stars and galaxies—theoretically. It helps to hold them together and shapes the large-scale structure of the universe. In other words, it’s possible that CERN may be trying to manipulate dark matter and thus affect the gravitational force, which could cause a time shift or subspace distortion that in their words “would last only a fraction of a second.” In our words, though, “You’re trying to open up a time portal using a black hole.”
How? The Large Hadron Collider will accelerate protons at nearly the speed of light, recreating conditions akin to those just after the “big bang,” in hopes of unveiling the secrets surrounding dark matter's influence on the formation of the universe. However, the “big bang” itself is still just a theory. Sir Roger Penrose shocked the world of physics when he stated that the big bang wasn’t the start of the universe, but rather, the end of a previous one. If that’s true, what if CERN isn’t just looking for dark matter from our own universe, but also the form of matter that came from the previous universe?
